Scholarships for International Students at the Western Sydney University 2020

The Western Sydney University is a top Australian multi-campus university in the Greater Western region of Sydney, Australia. Founded in the year 1989, the University has created an all welcoming environment for local and international students, and offers a range of scholarships to help high performing students achieve their dream.

 

 

1. Undergraduate Scholarship

Western Sydney International is offering $7,500 and $5,000 multi-year scholarships to new commencing international students enrolling in undergraduate degree coursework programs at Western Sydney University in 2020. As an applicant, you need to apply for admission into the University, and then all new application for admission will be automatically considered for a scholarship.

 

 

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• be an international student and not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia. If your visa status changes to one of these during the study period, the scholarship will discontinue.
• commence a new course of study in 2020 for the first time
• be applying to study in a CRICOS registered undergraduate degree program
• satisfy the academic eligibility requirements for either the $7,500 or $5,000 multi-year scholarship
• satisfy all other admission requirements and accept their admission offer.

 

 

NOTE:

• Scholarships will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis until filled.
• Students are advised to accept the scholarship as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.

 

 

2. Postgraduate Scholarships

All new applications for admission will be automatically considered for a scholarship. If you are successful, your scholarship offer will be outlined in your Offer of Admission letter.

 

Eligibility

Awards are granted on the basis of academic merit.

Applicants must:

• be an international student and not an Australian Citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia. If your status changes to one of these during the study period the scholarship will discontinue.
• satisfy the academic eligibility requirements for either of the multi-year scholarships in their most recent completed tertiary qualification recognized by Western Sydney University
• satisfy all other admission requirements and accept their admission offer
• commence a new course of study in 2020 for the first time.

 

 

Benefits and duration

Depending on the applicant’s academic achievement, the following benefits will apply:

A multi-year benefit of

• $7,500 per year or
• $5,000 per year

Benefits will be applied to tuition fees for full-time enrollment in a postgraduate study
